Strengthen Health Outcomes for Women and Children (SHOW) Project:

SHOW is a 4-year (January 2016- September 2020). The ultimate objective of SHOW is to contribute to the reduction of maternal and child mortality amongst vulnerable women and children, including adolescent girls, in targeted remote, underserved regions and Districts in Ghana. To achieve the project’s ambitious objective, the quality, availability, utilization and accountability of essential maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services will be improved in the targeted districts in the Northern Part of Ghana. |

Advocacy for Resources for Malaria Stoppage (ARMS) Initiative |
The overall goal of this project is to contribute to reduced incidence of malaria in Ghana, ISRAD as a member of the consortium is operating in 18 districts in Northern, Upper East and Upper West region

· 600 community health volunteers trained on communication strategies for Ebola prevention and preparedness across the three regions in the northern sector of Ghana. · Successfully conducted three Regional stakeholders meeting and 34 districts stakeholders meeting on Ebola in all the three regions and 34 districts across the regions. Active stakeholders participation · 298,149 c (146,220 males & 151,929 females) community members have being sensitized through house to house sensitization. · 1,657 traditional leaders ,131 Imams and 82 pastors have being trained on Ebola prevention · Successfully developed and aired jingles on Ebola in15 local languages. · Successfully developed and distributed posters ,flyers and factsheets on Ebola · 84 schools visited and 29,891 students sensitized on Ebola prevention and preparedness · Organized 45 radio discussions across 15 local radio stations in the three regions covering an estimated number of 1,233,400 people |
